Building character with the group, showing them how to use power to their advantage. The learning of the Olympic lifts and their derivatives relates highly to rugby due to their dynamic correspondence to movements in competition. Further, the ability to tolerate these movements under appropriate load in a long term plan has been shown to be beneficial in athlete development.
Explosivity is directly related to power, and so by working on power based movements we can, in time, translate these capacities into explosiveness on and off the field. In the end, we want to blow our opposition off of the field.

The build up to the evenings scrimmage against Rugby Atlanta was an opportunity refine and expose areas to work on as a single unit. Catapult GPS trackers on, every bit of detail matters when refining the process. Everything we worked on in the past weeks were put under pressure and put to the test. The result, the never ending battle of getting better.
We're less than a month away from kicking off our 2020 MLR season campaign. We keep building and adding to the positive outcomes. Every bit of detail matters moving forward.
